Maze Game Online
Take the orange ball from the entrance to the green exit. Each level generates a new maze, from a calm 5×5 up to a giant of more than 50×50 squares.
How to play the maze
You start in the top-left corner (yellow square) and must reach the bottom-right corner (green square). The timer starts with your first move and stops when you find the exit.
On the computer, use the arrow keys or W, A, S, D to walk one square at a time; holding Shift makes the ball run down the corridor to the next fork. On the phone, drag the ball with your finger to draw the path, or swipe anywhere in the maze to run to the next crossing.
The blue trail shows where you have been: walking back along it erases the path, and tapping a point on the trail sends the ball back there. Stuck? The “Show path” button reveals the route to the exit, but then the time doesn’t count for a record.
Frequently asked questions
Are the mazes always different?
Yes. Each maze is generated on the spot, in your browser, and there is always a single path between the entrance and the exit, with no shortcuts or closed islands.
What is the biggest maze?
Level 40 is 52×52 squares, more than 2,700 in total. On the big levels, swiping or using Shift + arrows helps a lot, because the ball runs down the corridors on its own.
Is there a trick to get out of any maze?
There is the right-hand rule: keep one hand on a wall and always follow it. In a maze like these, with no islands, you always reach the exit, just not always by the shortest route.
