Drag from a dot to its matching dot. Lines can’t cross, and the whole grid must be filled.

How to play Connect the Colors

Press on a colored dot and drag to draw a line to the other dot of the same color. Lines move between neighboring squares (up, down, left or right), never diagonally, and they can’t cross each other.

A puzzle is solved only when every pair is connected and every single square is covered. If all colors are linked but some squares are still empty, there’s a smarter route: try making some lines take the long way around.

Drawing over another line cuts it, and tapping a square on a line lets you redraw from there. Use “Undo” to step back, “Hint” to reveal one correct line (best times are only saved without hints) and the letters button if colors are hard to tell apart. If you came here searching for Flow Free, this is the same kind of puzzle.

Frequently asked questions

Does every puzzle have a solution?

Yes. Each board is built from a complete solution first, then the generator checks that there’s only one way to solve it with lines that don’t double back against themselves, so you can solve it by logic instead of guessing.

What’s the best strategy?

Start with dots on the edges and in corners, since they have few ways to go. Connect pairs that sit close together early, then route the long lines around them. A line that hugs the wall is often right.

How are the board sizes different?

Bigger boards have more colors and longer lines: 5×5 uses up to 6 colors, while 9×9 can have 13. Your best time is saved separately for each size.
