How to use the solver
Type your guess, five letters long. Tap each letter square to set its color: grey means the letter is not in the word, yellow means it is in the word but in another place, and green means it is in the right place.
Press "Add guess". Repeat for each guess you have made. The list of possible words updates after every guess.
Remove a guess if you entered a color by mistake. Start again by removing every guess.
Frequently asked questions
How do I mark a letter?
Tap a letter square to cycle it through grey, yellow and green. Grey is the default. Set the colors to match what the game showed you, then press "Add guess".
Why does the list show fewer words than I expected?
The solver uses a curated subset of common five-letter English words, not a full dictionary. If the answer is missing from the list, the solver cannot suggest it.
Is the solver free and private?
Yes. It is free, and the solving happens in your browser. Your guesses are not sent to a server.
