How to play Star Clicker
Click (or tap) the big star to earn stars. With them, hire helpers from the “Helpers” tab: fireflies, balloons, telescopes, observatories, rockets, space stations, nebulas and galaxies. Each one collects stars per second without you having to click, and costs a little more with every purchase.
The “Upgrades” tab offers one-time purchases: some double the value of your click, others double the output of one type of helper once you own 10, 25 and 50 of it. Now and then an orange shooting star crosses the sky: click it before it fades to get a minute of production all at once.
When you have gathered enough stars, the “Supernova” tab unlocks constellations. A Supernova resets your stars, helpers and upgrades, but each constellation gives +5% production forever, so the next round goes much faster. The game saves itself in the browser and, when you come back, you receive half of what your helpers would have collected (up to 12 hours).
Frequently asked questions
Does the clicker game save my progress?
Yes, it saves automatically every few seconds in this browser. If you clear your browser data or switch devices, the progress starts from zero.
Do I earn stars while the game is closed?
Yes. When you return, the game calculates the time you were away (up to 12 hours) and gives you half of your helpers’ production for that period.
When is it worth doing a Supernova?
As soon as you have a few constellations to gain and production starts to grow slowly. Each constellation adds 5% to everything, so restarting with several of them gets you back to your progress in a few minutes.
