How to play American football
You get 4 downs to move the ball 10 yards. When you have the ball, pick a play (short pass, long pass or run) and a lane on the field, then hit Snap.
On a pass, the green bar shows when the receiver in your lane is open: release the ball (Space or a tap) at that moment. On a run, wait for the defender to close in and cut when the marker is in the green zone.
On fourth down, if you cannot gain the yards, choose a field goal (lock the aim between the posts, then the power) or a punt. When the CPU attacks, pick a defense and make the tackle in the right window.

When should I attempt a field goal?
The closer you are, the wider the aim zone. The farther the kick, the higher the power bar has to stop, and the narrower the aim zone gets.
What is a punt?
A punt is a long kick that sends the ball far from your end zone and hands possession to the opponent. It scores nothing, but it is the safe choice when the field goal is too far.
How long is a game?
It is 4 quarters of 8 plays each. A touchdown is worth 7 points and a field goal is worth 3. Your best score is saved in this browser.
