How to play the ski slalom
Press and hold the left side of the screen to turn left, or the right side to turn right. You do not set the speed yourself: the skier rolls down on their own and picks up speed on straight runs.
Pass between the two flags of each gate, one red and one blue. Going through outside a gate costs 2 seconds. Turning non-stop slows you down, so make smooth turns whenever you can.
Finish all 14 gates in the shortest time. Your final time is the run time plus penalties. The best time for each level is saved in this browser. On the keyboard, the arrows or A and D steer, and P or Space pauses.

How do I gain speed on the slope?
The skier speeds up on their own while going straight. Every turn brakes a little, and long, sharp turns brake a lot. Keep a clean line between gates so you do not lose rhythm.
Why is my final time bigger than the stopwatch?
Each missed gate adds 2 seconds of penalty to the run time. The final time shown at the end of the run is the sum of both.
What changes on higher levels?
The gates get narrower, closer together and demand quicker turns. Each level keeps its own record.
